Citizen

A citizen is a full-rights user that is eligible for extra actions and benefits within DAO.

To become a Citizen, user must either:

1) Purchase a CitPass token via official Lottery Program 2) Be invited by Citizen with free CitPass or DAO itself

General Procedure:

1. Confirm your identity

2. Fill the New Citizen Application

3. Most of the data is optional to fill. But if you share more, you will receive more money back.

4. Sign the Oath of Freedom (in full) with broadcasting transaction from your wallet

5. Pass PEN-screening (selected applications only)

6. Mint a FAITH token (SBT) — this is your passport and right to vote and propose. For minting, you need to have a 1 unclaimed CitPass in your wallet.

7. Welcome!

As a Citizen, you will have some responsibilities and rights. You can treat them as Terms of Service for your user role of Citizen. Until they are not set, there are no any responsibilities and rights with this status, and you would be able to cancel it anytime. You are also granted 1 (one) right to sell your citizenship (convert FAITH to 1 CitPass) and sell it on the market.

Responsibilities:

• Sign Oath of Freedom (in full)

• KYC (decentralized)

• To be a Producer (your contribution to the VERV's ecosystem is expected at least 16 hours a month — in liquidity or labor). Temporary Non-Producer status might be provided with saving all benefits of the Citizenship. Duration is based on your track record. This status is NOT REQUIRED for Honorary Citizen.

• To be proactive. The only benefit of citizenship is in taking responsibility for the direction and speed of our movement. So take it only if you really want it. Otherwise, consider Resident or Associate role.

Rights:

• To vote in any public Initiative (including Essential Series)

• Max. weight modifier equals 15.0

• 1 free CertPass token minting (claim a free skills confirmation SBT)

• To create & manage a Node (group of users within DAO) for any purpose*

• Burn Citizenship (no penalties applied if all disputes are resolved)

• Use role privileges in components of the system

Important notice: Citizens are not allowed to reclaim their Citizenship back, no matter what was the reason. Once you lose it, you will not be granted a new Citizenship or Residency later (even after the years).

There will be no any recurrent fees or charges for Citizenship or Resident role until at least 2025. You will pay-as-you-go, only for selected and desired services.

Any changes in this policy will be a Will of the whole DAO.
